E-learning
Problem
Coaching plays a pivotal role in effective leadership, especially when managing teams and individuals. However, too often many employees do not receive the necessary coaching required to foster their professional growth, which, in turn, affects organizational outcomes.
One of the root causes identified is that leaders often lack awareness of different coaching types and when to apply them appropriately. The e-learning course aims to stimulate awareness by defining three types of coaching: coaching for success, coaching for improvement, and managing performance problems.
By participating in this e-learning, leaders will be able to identify each coaching type's purpose and the specific scenarios in which they should be applied. Leaders will watch scenarios, use their decision-making skills, and select when to use the different coaching types.
The goal of this e-learning is to empower leaders to become effective coaches, capable of inspiring their teams, unlocking their potential, and driving better results for the organization. By fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement, this training seeks to elevate the overall performance and success of both the individual employees and the organization.
Design Process
Branching Scenario
I created a branching scenario using Twine that allowed me to map out the learner’s progression. This step was critical in ensuring a cohesive, segmented, and logical structure for the learners to progress through the course.

Video Scenarios
I used Vyond to create scenarios based on past experiences. Relying on past experiences was extremely beneficial in minimizing time spent generating ideas.

Accessibility
One aspect that I wanted to ensure I incorporated was meeting accessibility standards. Using tools such as the WebAIM Contrast Checker and understanding the WCAC guidelines allowed me to create an inclusive and accessible e-learning experience. Ensuring accessibility was not just a compliance measure but a commitment to providing equal learning opportunities for everyone was important to me.
